FAQ’S

WHAT IS AN FFL?
A “FFL” is a Federal Firearm License. There are currently over 58,000 FFL holders nationwide. FFL holders are commonly gun stores, pawn shops, and retail sporting goods stores. However, there are also many individuals that hold a FFL. All firearms sold to individuals online must be shipped to a local FFL holder who will then transfer the firearm (via ATF form 4473 and associated background check) to the individual.
CAN YOU SHIP MY FIREARM DIRECT TO ME AT MY HOME OR OFFICE?
No, all firearms must be shipped to a verified FFL (Federal Firearm License) holder. The only exceptions are some black powder firearms, and then only to approved states.
HOW DO I KNOW IF I CAN LEGALLY PURCHASE A FIREARM?
Before you’re able to take possession of your firearm from your dealer you’ll be required to pass a background check. This is a fairly simple process. Typically, while your dealer is on the phone they will receive one of the following responses – approved, delayed, or denied. Please check your state and local regulations as well, several states/locals have additional requirements.
DO YOU GUYS ACCEPT GUN TRADES AND/OR BUY USED GUNS?
Yes we do! We also buy estates. Please send us an email with what you have to offer.
CAN I COME TO THE SHOP?

We are open from 10am to 6pm Monday thru Saturday.

MAY I LAWFULLY MAKE A FIREARM FOR MY OWN PERSONAL USE, PROVIDED IT IS NOT BEING MADE FOR RESALE?

(From the ATF Website): “Firearms may be lawfully made by persons who do not hold a manufacturer’s license under the GCA provided they are not for sale or distribution and the maker is not prohibited from receiving or possessing firearms.”

DOES THE POLYMER80 80% LOWER RECEIVER REQUIRE TRANSFER OR REGISTRATION THROUGH AN FFL?
No. This is a do-it-yourself product that requires special skills and tools to complete the fire control pocket and drill the appropriate pin holes for the trigger assembly, etc. There are reliable videos on YouTube and various gunsmith sites demonstrating the procedure.
ARE FELONS RESTRICTED FROM OWNING A FIREARM THAT WAS BUILT FROM AN 80% RECEIVER?
Felons that are restricted from owning a firearm, are restricted from purchasing and/or building a firearm. We have a strict policy against selling 80% lower receivers to convicted felons.
WHAT GENERATION OF GLOCK PARTS WILL WORK IN MY POLYMER80 FRAME?
Polymer80 receivers will accept Gen 1, 2, and 3 glock parts.
DO YOU OFFER INSTRUCTIONS TO HELP COMPLETE 80% LOWER RECEIVERS?

Instructions and how-to video may be found on the “how-to” page on Polymer80’s website, linked here: https://www.polymer80.com/how-to/

WILL THE NOMAD 9 100% RECEIVER WORK WITH CALIBERS OTHER THAN 9MM?
While a G23 or G32 slide will fit the Nomad 9, we are recommending that you assemble and fire the Nomad 9 using only G19 (9mm) components. The Nomad 9 utilizes a different polymer blend than a factory Glock. We cannot certify the reliability of the Nomad 9 in conjunction with any components other than G19 Gen4.
CAN I RUN A GEN 5 G19 SLIDE ON MY NOMAD 9 RECEIVER?
There are differences between the Gen5 and Gen4 slides – firing pin safety, slide cover plate, and trigger bar interface to name a few. We cannot certify the safe use and implementation of Gen5 G19 slides on the Nomad 9 frame.
DO YOU OFFER PARTS TO COMPLETE MY POLYMER80 OR NOMAD 9 BUILD?
We offer a full range of Glock parts and completion kits to help you finish your custom build!
